Our balance has dropped below $200 but we are there is no worry here as we are confident of another huge day and night for the revolution today.
Final day at Ascot and we will go for Sakhee's Secret Golden Jubilee Stakes to beat Takeover Target. We have had a dreadful run at Euro 2008 but will predict a draw in tonight's quarter final, while in the AFL we will lay North Melbourne with a 33 point head start
AFL $5 lay North Melbourne @ $1.65 with a 33 point start
Euro 2008 $5 on draw in Holland v Russia @ $4.10

Ascot and Euro Again - FridayCurrent Bank: $209.99 Last Result: Loss $10.00
Coastal Path not good enough and finished 3rd while Portugal disappointing. Tonight VERY confident about Croatia as half of Turkey's squad is injured.
In the King George City Leader each way

Euro 2008 $5 win Croatia @ $1.88 Prices Betfair Australia

Ascot Gold Cup & Euro 2008 - Thursday NightCurrent Bank: $219.99 Last Result: Win $5.95
One winner with the Duke and missed the place with Pressing who lead but faded to come fourth. Also collected on Spain so a small win for the nights action.
... so to the Gold Cup, it looks like a match between Yeats who seems to have everything in it's favour as it goes best fresh and has won first out at Navan at the end of April. Preference is for the unbeaten Coastal Path who looked impressive winning a 2 mile group 2 last time out in a quick time. Looked like it had a lot in the tank. It's trainer won this race a few years back with Westerner so knows what it will take to win this.
In Euro action it's the first of the quarter finals and we will go with Portugal to win at the end of 90 minutes
Royal Ascot $5 win Coastal Path @ $3.15
Euro 2008 $5 win Portugal @ $2.50 at end of 90 minutes Prices from Betfair Australia

Ascot Day 2 & Euro 2008 - Wednesday NightCurrent Bank: $214.04 Last Result: Loss $11.82
One winner and two thirds from four selections last night, would of broken even backing each way!
Now day two - Today's racing doesn't look as good as yesterday. Boring bet but hard to see past Duke of Marmalade, at about 13/8, in the big race, with Pressing worth a punt EW in the same race as there isn't much between them on the form book through Saddex.
Royal Ascot $5 win Race 3 Duke of Marmalade @ $2.50 $2.50 Each Way Race 3 Pressing @ $12.00 Euro 2008 $5 win Spain @ $1.78 Prices Betfair Australia

First day of Ascot - Tuesday NightCurrent Bank: $225.86 Last Result: Loss $5.00
Again we have missed a bit of Euro action but no interest tonight as games could go either way and/or teams have nothing to play for.
Will instead move our attention to one of Britain's biggest horse racing carnival beginning at Royal Ascot today (Tuesday night Australian Time)
Here's a run down of day one:
Some competitive racing - Race 1 Think the first race is between Finsceal Beo, Darjina and Sageburg, with preference given to the first named who is stepping back in trip and at around 7-1 offers fair value. A filly!
Bet of the Day - Race 2 In the next think the favourite is a good thing. The Aussie Takeover Target is the standard bearer but at rising 9 years think the 3 year old FILLY Fleeting Spirit will take it. May get good odds in Australia for this horse as all the money will be on the Target
Odds On Banker - Race 3 A Filly cannot win the 3rd as it's only open to Colts! The favourite should win this as it's won the English and Irish 2000 with the horse who it beat on both occasions winning the English Derby! Solid form! Some horses dropping back in trip and the French 2000 winner is open to improvement so Henry The Navigator to beat Falco in a forecast!
Frankie Dettori - Race 4 The 2 year old race will go to Lanfranco Dettori aboard Orizaba. He's on the favourite who won by 10 lengths in it's only race. If reading the form fails ... at 50-1 Square Eddie ...
2 and a half mile handicaps are best avoided but are a lot of fun to watch!!! A lot of time to ponder past sins as the favourite labours around the first bend!
Royal Ascot $5 win Race 1 Finsceal Beo @ $8.20 $5 win Race 2 Fleeting Spirit @ $3.15 $5 win Race 3 Henry The Navigator @ $1.67 $5 win Race 4 Orizaba @ $4.40 Prices from Betfair Australia

Euro 2008 $5 multi Germany into Poland @ $3.89 both to win at end of 90 minutes Prices from Betfair Australia

Euro 2008 - Wednesday NightCurrent Bank: $231.97 Last Result: Win $3.32
Quick post tonight!
Sweden winners last night, Russia poor. Good action tonight in Portugal and for interest will go for the home team in the later game
Euro 2008 $5 win Portugal @ $1.82 at end of 90 minutes $5 win Switzerland @ $2.32 at end of 90 minutes Prices Betfair Australia

Euro 2008 - Tuesday NightCurrent Bank: $228.65 Last Result: Loss $10.00 Yes after working hard all weekend betting on the AFL for a small profit, it went straight down the drain again that night in Europe.
Not to worry we are straight back on the horse for some more Euro 2008 action, and another late night/early morning viewing in Australia for some.
In the first match the underachieving Spanish team play our own Ozzie Gus Hiddink's Russia. It's hard knowing Hiddink's background to ever back against a team he is managing, but Spain is considered the team to beat in this tournament. We will go with an Asian Handicap bet of Russia +1. This means we will collect if Russia win or draw, will get our money back if Spain win by 1 goal and do our money if Spain win by more than one goal.
In the late match we will go for Sweden, spearheaded by the veteran Henrik Larsson, to win over the last European champions in the inconsistent Greece.
Euro 2008 $5 Asian Handicap on Russia +1 @ $1.69 (we collect unless Spain win by 2 or more goals) $5 win Sweden @ $2.70 at end of 90 minutes Prices Betfair Australia at 6:21pm 10th June

Euro 2008 - Monday NightCurrent Bank: $238.65 Last Result: Win $9.54 A profitable weekend in the AFL, with all 5 tips being winners, now we will turn our attention to Euro 2008. We have missed the opening two days and with some predictable winners in Portugal and Germany winning. We will begin our tipping with bets on two other giants in European soccer with France to beat Romania and Italy to beat the Dutch in tonight's game
Euro 2008 $5 win France @ $1.85 at end of 90 minutes $5 win Italy @ $2.50 at the end of 90 minutes Prices from Betfair 4:12pm 9th June

Queens Birthday WeekendCurrent Bank: $229.11 Teams are out so we will get in early for this weekend. Bet of the round Brisbane to beat Fremantle in Brisbane. Next best, Hawthorn to beat Essendon followed by Adelaide to beat Richmond. We will take North Melbourne with a 32 point start and finish off the weekend with Collingwood against Melbourne. Shorts odds I know but all favourites for a good reason this week, and North are great value with that head start. AFL $5 win Brisbane @ $1.18 $5 win Hawthorn @ $1.15 $5 win Adelaide @ $1.65 $5 win North Melbourne @ $1.96 with 32 point start $5 win Collingwood @ $1.07 Prices from Betfair Thursday 5th June 6:05pm

Not Even CloseCurrent Bank: $229.11 Loss $5.84 Two winners out of five for the weekend and although we got a collect, overall a loss for the weekend wasn't what we were expecting. Most of our outsiders got flogged so the strategy didn't bring the windfall we all hoped.
Not to worry as Euro 2008 starts this week so keep an eye out for regular updates from the revolution

Outsider's AgainCurrent Bank: $234.95 We follow-up on last weekend theme and throw some outsider's into this weeks selections. Bet of the week Adelaide to win (money for jam), West Coast who are getting better by the week to bet Collingwood at big odds, Bulldogs to beat Hawthorn, Kangaroo's to beat Brisbane and Richmond to beat Sydney. A huge weekend!!!! AFL $5 win Adelaide @ $1.10 ($1.07 with other bookmakers) $5 win West Coast @ $4.90 ($4.50) $5 win Bulldogs @ $2.56 ($2.45) $5 win Kangaroo's @ $4.10 $5 win Richmond @ $4.70 ($4.50) Prices from Betfair

Two from FourCurrent Bank: $234.95 Last Result: Win $5.05 Two winners from four on the weekend helps the balance head the right way. Sydney good winners and Apache Cat destroyed the opposition to win in Queensland. Weekend profit makes up for Tevez missing such a gift in Champions League Final. Not sure when the next bet will be but no later than Friday

Outsider WeekendCurrent Bank: $229.90 Last Result: Loss $5.00 Interesting the read the bookmakers crying poor this week about the number of favourites who have won so far this season in AFL - poor buggers. Well we will attempt to help them out and select two outsiders for this weekend in Essendon and Sydney. We will also go for Bristol City to win the play off in England later tonight and will put some money on Apache Cat in the horse racing in Queensland. AFL $5 win Essendon @ $3.90 $5 win Sydney @ $2.56 English Soccer $5 win Bristol City @ $3.35 (at end of 90 minutes) Horse Racing $5 win Apache Cat @ $2.44 to win at Doomben Race 7 Prices from Betfair Australia

A Winning WeekendCurrent Bank: $234.90 Last Result: Win $3.07 (after 5% commission) 3 out of 4 winners tipped over the weekend giving 'the revolution' another profit after what was a wet and wild weekend here in Melbourne. North were lucky just to pull through on the weekend while Collingwood battled all night again St Kilda before pulling away in the end. Our outsider Carlton were shown to be lacking quality to be beaten by Brisbane on Saturday night. Portsmouth also got up in a pretty forgettable FA Cup later in the night and were slightly lucky that Cardiff had a goal disallowed during the game but still got up paying a very generous $1.80 Champions league final Wednesday night and it's hard to go past such a professional unit in Man U although the game will be very close and been played in Russia will make it interesting for both teams involved. Champions League $5 win on Man U @ $2.62 to win match at end of 90 minutes Prices from Betfair Australia
